Whilst I had a reasonably good idea of what I wanted, Milkshake took that to a whole new level and totally surpassed my expectations. The creativity was absolutely amazing to us.

How did you first hear about Milkshake and why did you choose us?

We first got to know Milkshake through Straumann. Sue was writing articles for us through Straumann – she came to have a look around, we got talking about branding and the rest is history. We particularly wanted an agency that works with and understands dental practices, as they’re our clients.

What was your initial brief and marketing goal?

We wanted to modernise the brand. We felt the company had changed dramatically since we first launched, so we were looking for something that represented who were are now – leaner, sharper and more modern. Dental technology has gone through massive changes and we wanted a brand that reflected that. What you guys did for us gave us that really sharp, clean, modern look that’s been so successful for us as a brand.

What were your first impressions as you started working with us?

Milkshake felt really young and dynamic. It felt more creative and flexible than other agencies we’ve worked with.

How did you feel about the creative process?

It was great. Whilst I had a reasonably good idea of what I wanted, Milkshake took that to a whole new level and totally surpassed my expectations. The creativity was absolutely amazing to us.

How were our communications with you?

We’ve been really busy, with designing and moving to our new lab, so we appreciate that you don’t come to us with lots of little things every few days – you group them and send us a more comprehensive list less frequently. That level of communication works much better for us than lots of little interruptions.

What were some of the challenges in your brief and how well do you think we’ve met them?

We had an idea of what we wanted, but I was struggling to communicate that across. It was great that you initially gave me several different branding options and gave us the flexibility to work with different colour schemes and designs until we eventually narrowed it down to the one we wanted.

What feedback do you have about the work we’ve done so far?

We love it – it looks really professional, really smart. It’s also very non-lab, which is just what we wanted. The feedback from clients was exceptional – they felt it really matched our company values. In fact, it was quite amazing the number of people who went out of their way to contact us and say they loved the new brand.

What would you say about Milkshake to a colleague who’s looking to improve their marketing?

We’ve already recommended Milkshake to various people! Milkshake offers really creative solutions. They listen to you and are very forward-thinking. They have a fantastic knowledge base and lots of good ideas. Everything we wanted on our website – they knew how to implement it all.
